Why gaming companies turned fun into stress

My battlefield account is tied to an old email I don't use and i don't remember the password I'm trying to switch it to my new email but it is saying that my account can't switch because it's tied to my old account for life which makes no sense especially when these companies know we lose and forget our email they don't leave no easy way to fix it and I'm starting think they don't care it shouldn't be this stressful to play your own game
