  • I have the same issue, exactly.

    13900, 4090, 32gb.  Deff not the system.

Just started happening out of nowhere for about a week now

Only thing i found out so far is by turning off nvidia overlay, try that and see if it works helped me.

  • I have the exact same problem. When joining a server the game freezes for 1 second then continues and freezes for 1 second and so on. I found out that this happened after updating to the new February update for Windows, i had no problems before this update. I made a post on reddit and it seems that this is a problem for everyone with the new Windows update. :/ I found out that decreasing the graphics helped a little with the stutter when joining, but the 1 second freezing throughout the game still happens. :/

Anti Cheat still stops working and drops to desktop.

  • Same here buddy. EA needs to fix this i am facing this issue on my PS4 slim since 3-4 days. My ps4 slim is working fine on ssd everything is working fine except Battlefield V. I am using ssd on my slim from 14 months now and had no issues so far. But since 3-4 days i am facing this shutter issue or fps drop whatever it is.. The game is unplayable whenever i start a strategic conquest in any server available even with the best ping. When it started. I select the class and start to play.. All it does is pause the screen every 1-2 seconds i a loop and is unplayable. First i thought it was my PS4 CPU Throttling. So I've cleaned my already cleaned ps4 slim and the replace the thermal paste arctic MX-6 from the repair shop. Then i came back and rebuild database, then deleted Both game and save files.. Then reinstalled game then tried playing and it's same shuttering. Then I've completely reinstalled ps4 system software to clean everything and a fresh start. then again downloaded the game but still same when going to strategic conquest because this only the mode which have more than 7-8 servers, Other things like tactical conquest or any other mode have only 1-2 servers or not at all. And i am playing battlefield v since more than 2 years now everyday for like 5-6 hours daily. But the shuttering is happening from 4 days now.. itstarts as soon as my map is loaded and i spawn in game. I currently only have installed battlefield V right now, and there's almost 350GB left on my 512GB SSD. All other things are working fine. Even the loading, game menu is fine. And other apps are working fine without any problem. Then i thought, its maybe the SSD issue then i suddenly found this post and now i am **bleep** sure its not my SSD issue. I've already been started searching for new SSD or hdd from last night. But these semiconductor crisis is going on and all prices are increased by 4X in India. But now today I'll try another game like call of duty or any other multiplayer game and let you know guys if that works fine or not...

But reading to this post i now know that its not me alone. So i might definitely not the ssd issue. Please EA fix this please.

  • Thank you for this post buddy. I thought it was my ssd problem and you saved my whole Lotta bucks while I was low on money at the moment as well. Thanks. Though I'll try another game to check whether its BFV alone or other games as well. 😇

    Hi everyone,

I am having a major issue with Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V. My entire PC freezes after 20 minutes of play and I have to do a hard reset. This only happens in BF1 and BFV since the new EA Anticheat (Javelin) update. Battlefield 2042 works perfectly.

    My Specs:

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D

    GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3070

    Steps I already tried:

Reinstalled EA Anti-Cheat (Javelin) from the game folder.

Tried with Memory Integrity (Core Isolation) both ON and OFF.

Changed Windows Power Plan to Balanced.

Verified game files and disabled all overlays.

The game runs fine for a short time and then the whole system locks up. It seems like a compatibility issue between the new anticheat and Ryzen 5000 series.

Is there a fix for this?
