If you have Season 2 players on your rosters it won't work. Season 2 players are bugged. Some people have been able to get in with them somehow but I cannot and neither can my friend and others. Remove frome lineup completely and it'll probably work.

There was something else I was hoping to confirm. Are you only seeing this happening when you're trying to play with friends via cross-play, or does the same thing still happen if they're on the same platform?
It doesn’t work regardless, fix your damn servers. You are allowed to spend endless amounts of money but I can’t play squads. That’s laughable, EA is truly a garbage company.

It’s been happening for 2/3 weeks. It’s when an Xbox player tries to team up with another player on ultimate team. I’ve had it happen a couple times with a buddy on the same console (Xbox) but happens everytime I try to play with my Roomate (he’s ps5).
We have tried literally every day the past 12 days and have racked up 12 losses from it lol. Please address asap as it is probably hurting player count numbers
EA Kent squads rarely loads up with friends or cross-platform! Also I just spent over 200k doing two field phenoms sets & they didn't count toward xp! Please help with this!
This is happening to me too but only on cross play. Can’t play with my PS5 buddies since beginning of last week
This is happening all of the time. In fact, all of ultimate team is super glitchy relative to the rest of the game. The load times are slow, the images don’t load, and I get errors that game modes are unavailable and then have to retry even when playing solo.
CROSS PLAY ONLY!!! Please fix this ASAP

My friend and I can play but only if he is offense and I am defense. If we swap roles the game will not load in.
Another day goes by and cross play is not available. You would think with how much money this company makes, they’d have some decent servers. But I can still spend money on this game but not play it. Probably started working on this game 4 months before it released. EA devs are actually useless. Won’t fix servers or squads gameplay, but they’ll add a * load of new cards. Y’all sorry.
when I play with other Xbox users it works fine but when I play with cross play that’s when it bugs out
Thx for the help, taking all the season 2 players out makes it load a majority of the time but it still sometimes doesn't work and gives you losses which is very annoying. It is also still super annoying that EA is literally forcing us to have worse teams because they're too lazy to fix their servers. Like I genuinely wonder what the devs do at work besides adding overpriced packs to the store with awful odds.
EA this is ridiculous how long do we have to wait for you to fix the only multiplayer mode you have in ultimate team that I can play with my friends. Season 2 cards don’t work, crossplay doesn’t work, we are getting losses for YOUR SERVERS booting us from the game or straight up not loading us into it. This sorry excuse for a company probably doesn’t even have the competence to identify the problem. This has been going on for WEEKS and you haven’t even attempted a patch on it. SORRY EXCUSE FOR A COMPANY.
I’ve been playing cross platform and it doesn’t work for us at all
As far as I have seen, it’s only with cross play in both MUT Squads and MUT challenges.
For me it only happens when I do cross-play. My buddy is on PS5, and I'm on X-Box series X. We will get to the point to where it shows our opponents also loading in, and then it just stops at the loading screen. Happens every time we team up together.
