Re: CFB25 Ratings Update

Personally, appreciate any game improvements offered by the EA developers to enhance the experience, however, if users had the option to manually adjust NIL player rating in offline Dynasty modes, then developers could better spend their time and resources sorting out the more than one hundred bugs, glitches, and game breaking issues (overheating of Xbox and PlayStation consoles for example). In addition, after the first two seasons in Dynasty mode, the majority of the updated players will already be removed from the game; upperclassmen or leave early for the NFL. EA developers: please concentrate on universal game-wide issues, rather than updating seventy players out of more than eleven thousand.

I have a hard time believing that...

How could 1600 players have been updated but probably hundreds of jerseys numbers are still wrong.  Or how could so many players have the wrong heights are weights?  How could there still be so many opt-in players still not in the game, yet fake players still in the game.  Or players who left the teams before the season started still in the game?

If EA is going to adjust attributes they should at minimum look at the rosters and adjust simple things like jersey number, height, and weight.  You would think that is simple stuff for EA sports to look at and fix.

I am one who likes all that stuff to be right, and since we can't fix it on ourselves anymore, we are relying on EA and they are taking their sweet old time, and don't seem to care.  I mean, I don't want to even play an dynasty with my favorite team because so many players either have the wrong number or aren't in the game.  This is really annoying.  Their lack of response to issues in this game is going to make people to not want to purchase the game next year.

  • I agree with you @rymike7. Many teams are plagued by missing players, incorrect numbers, and inaccurate height and weight details. The roster updates are sluggish, and the response to fixing bugs has been underwhelming. At this pace, I won’t be purchasing next year's game. It's disappointing that EA didn’t mention the inability to alter player ratings before launch—it feels deceptive. But that’s typical of EA, focusing more on profits than improving the game. At the very least, they should release roster updates every two weeks. Instead, we waited five weeks, and the rosters are still messed up.  As a Tennessee fan, it’s frustrating to see teams like Florida State, Colorado, and Oklahoma with better rankings than us, considering we just beat them. Not to mention the rankings are outdated and don’t reflect reality. It’s sad to see how little EA seems to care.
