Forum Discussion
This forum is the clearest example of why I hate playing games made by EA. They don't care about consumers, they buy up all the rights to games we love, and then they ruin them. They are literally the worst company for consumers. They just want to acquire IP that they can do nothing with and make money anyway. If someone had a politician that cared perhaps we could make a show of it. Otherwise they get so much money from hooking kids on gambling that they don't care to address anything.

Have the scheduling bugs been fixed? I didn't see anything in the patch notes.

Just a generic link to the title update which I'm sure almost everyone knew had dropped already?
Sigh.

I don't think * on him is going to do anything. Pretty sure that's the reason EA put him here. To just be a punching bag that can distract fan anger or be thrown under the bus if there's ever an uproar. They probably don't even get responses from the team other than "we're looking into it." I'm mad too, but ultimately it's my fault for buying another EA product. We bought into a known grift and got mad about being grifted.

After the most recent response, I’m pretty sure it’s a bot

Next year, EA will advertise that the game is greater than ever and all the glitches have been fixed and most of us will fall for it again only to find that 9-3 Bowling Green will still get ranked higher than 11-1 Ohio State and if you customize conferences and/or schedules just the slightest you'll still get P5 teams with 3 home games and 9 road games with a stretch of 3 straight bye weeks and playing a conference rival on the road for 4 years straight. Most of us will fall for it again. This is what happens when a company has little to no competition. They have no incentive to fix things because they know people will still buy it. We need to just quit buying it for a couple of years and they'll stop making it or fix it. I know they spend a lot on licensing to get logos, real players, etc but I would rather have fake players and teams and not have the problems I listed if that's what it takes. We're not getting our money's worth.

But thank heavens they added all those alternate jerseys!
Monopolies. So dumb. FFS.

Have you done the update yet? What is it supposed to fix? I want to update but I'm afraid I'll just get frustrated again after I do and then run another dynasty sim just to see the same old problems occurring.

Pre-release my fear was that they were going to try and fall back on the licensing to sell the games. Seems like that was their strategy by a lot of the design decisions in the game like not giving the ability to edit things that have nothing to do with NIL deal, making team builder an after thought, etc. I'm with you in that I could not care less about having actual college players in the game. If I really want them in the game I'll edit them into the game.

Sadly, Idk how we’re gonna get all the elementary school kids parents to stop buying games for their kids. I wish we could just get in touch with someone.
Can we just drown the devs with bug reports?

They did post the patch notes this morning, but unfortunately it seems to be severely lacking

- 6 months ago@EA_Failroader This update fixes NONE of the problems I've seen the most complaints about. But UAB, Charlotte and UMass got new uniforms and formations. We've all been on the edge of our seats waiting for that.

- 6 months ago@ThatBoyZD to be fair the ability to edit ratings of non nil players was a very very big problem that people wanted to see fixed
- 6 months ago@ThatBoyZD All it takes is breaking the chain once. I got fed up with Madden after 2018. Haven't bought it since. Haven't regretted it for a second. I'm already at this point with College Football. 100% not buying it again. Other people just need to commit to doing the same.
- 6 months ago@Canadeion I'm with you. I bought a PS5 just for this. I don't think they know how to fix the dynasty problems. That's why they're not acknowledging the problems we have all listed. If you can't fix it, just admit it. Or at least tell us you'll try.
- 6 months ago@oSThrowback It's still loaded with lots of other problems. I simmed another dynasty after today's "update" and it was the same old problems. Rivals in the same conference not playing each other, 3 straight bye weeks for some teams, CFP rankings all out of whack. If customizing conferences and schedules throws it off that much, why offer it as an option? I'm also sick of hearing Reece Davis say in custom conferences, "This is where you pick your rival." It is??? WHERE???? There is no place to do that.
- 6 months ago@ThatBoyZD never said it was perfect, still a lot of things that need to be addressed, its never going to be perfect though and probably wont even be remotely close, all i stated is that being able to edit non NIL players was asked for immensely in the beginning of the game and leading up to the release before people started adding more customization to the wishlist thread and and it got addressed but yes they still have other issues especially in dynasty that need to be worked on.
- 6 months ago@oSThrowback Agreed. I haven't tried editing players so it wasn't an issue for me. I've been too frustrated with the other problems I mentioned. If they can't fix it, just tell us. Or tell us you're working on it for next year's game if you want us to buy it again. NCAA 14 had some of the same problems but they were nowhere near as egregious as this game. I would see 2 straight bye weeks in 14 but never 3. I can live with 2 but 3 is just beyond ridiculous. Custom scheduling wasn't as jacked up in 14 either. At least you could pick designated rivals in the same conference to play every year.

Agreed. I do believe most of the issues that people have can and will be addressed. Them letting us edit non NIL players ratings at the very least shows that they see the comments and whats being said. Nothing is going to get fixed all at once though and they are always going to add cosmetic stuff even while other issues that people have need to be addressed, its just how it is sadly. But the update has shown promise. AT THE VERY LEAST, THE UPDATE DIDN'T BREAK ANYTHING THAT WASN'T ALREADY BROKEN THIS TIME lol 🙂
- 6 months ago@EA_Failroader Is removing the level cap for coaches in offline dynasty mode a realistic possibility?

Anyone else notice when they bring up the rivalry info for year 2 and beyond that it's all wrong?
When you make someone a captain, the sentence in the info window isn't even finished. It says something like "Your player will have a j...."
