Dynasty Sack/TFL bug
There is a major issue in the current game, that i have noticed since launch. And have tried to tell as many streamers or devs as possible. But it has never been fixed. When playing games in dynasty, every time you get a sack on the QB, you are awarded a sack and a TFL. And in all cpu v cpu games simmed week to week, the sacks in those games do NOT count as a TFL. So you end up having players winning awards all the time, based on the fact they are now earning a TFL for each sack. Making the recruiting process so much easier. If you have a good pass rush, you end up getting so many players interested because your TFL numbers skyrocket. And the CPU can not keep up with you, as they are only gaining the sack and not the bonus TFL. I hope this is fixed in CFB26 but i doubt it as they have not done anything about it yet. Please if someone knows how to get this info to the CFB26 team.Adeeeeeeeeeeeeew3 days agoRising Newcomer10Views0likes0CommentsDynasty Too Many Leagues Error - You are already the commissioner of 20 leagues.

In dynasties all users are able to edit heights and weights of the non NIL. That is a dynasty wrecking flaw. Because there’s no way to monitor that for 32 different people. Also there is no transaction log type of system that could show what players have been edited.nickbroadway7 days agoRising Novice130Views1like2CommentsNCAA 26 beta
Users need to be able to see all recruiting stats instead of a select few. Would like to have a better juke combination selection or bring back 2014 double move. Can you guys PLEASE allow us to export draft classes to put in to Madden next year? That is the one request that I have so I don't have to play NCAA 14 anymore to be able to follow my players to the NFL. You can take out the NIL players and replace them with generic players, I DON'T CARE! I'm tired of having Heisman-level players decide to simply graduate because by the game's logic if their overall rating wasn't 90 or above they have no interest in going pro. You don't throw 50 touchdowns as a senior or rush for 1,800 yards and then decide, "Well, that's enough of that. I was only here for the education, really. I'm gonna go bag groceries now instead of making millions in the NFL." Also, how high they're selected in the draft also needs to be based much more on their final college performance, NOT just on OVR rating. This failed AI logic crushes my soul at the end of every season. It is really immersion-breaking when this stuff happens.631Views1like3CommentsCollege Football 26 Recruiting/Offseason Wish List
I made a Dynasty Wish List a few months back. But now I want to dive deeper in the recruiting and offseason aspects of Dynasty Mode. Recruiting First I love the variety of recruits that come through dynasties. 4000 plus a year is pretty awesome. That being said, I think there is room for improvement to this part of the game. Auto Recruiting is pretty terrible I don't use it too often, but recently, I have done some carousel dynasties where I start as a coordinator somewhere and let the HC handle recruiting. The AI logic for the user team is no where close to accurately filling in team needs. This needs to be tuned similar to how madden tuned its draft logic a few years back. Not just user auto recruiting logic, but the CPU team recruiting logic needs to be overhauled as well. Why does a team have 12 QBs on their roster? This is one example, but there are times where teams have tons (10+) good (80+) players at 1 position group. Most of those guys will never play for that team, but they can play almost anywhere else in the country. There should be logic to either prevent teams from over recruiting positions where only 1 or 2 guys play, or added logic for the guys bogged in the depth chart to transfer to another school. Dynamic deal breakers Piggy backing off of my last point (this was also mentioned in my dynasty mode wish list) a player's deal breaker should change throughout their career. Some of the top recruits and players (85+ or 4/5 Star) should have more than 1 deal breaker. This would add some depth and story telling throughout the dynasty. As guys improve, their deal breakers should change with them. Add Loyalty to Coach or to Program as a Deal breaker/player trait (more on this later.) Prospect Designs There is a ton of variety, I definitely, don't think I have seen the same player design repeated. But I have NEVER seen a player with long hair or dreads out the back of their helmets. Recruiting Hours I really don't have many specific things for this. The mix between being active and set it and forget it is nice, but I feel like it is lacking. I appreciate not having to make a phone call for every player each week, but there are still some things that I think should be a little more specific. The recruiting actions themselves are pretty bland and there UI does not really give a good tell as to how certain actions affect a prospects interest. I think there should be some freedom as to which pitches we target when hard selling/soft selling or swaying. Maybe each pitch should be 10-15 hours instead of 20-40 to hard sell or what not. Abilities There needs to be a revamp on which abilities prospects have. Most linemen have the same abilities or none at all, but there isn't a lot of variety. This goes for other positions as well. Visits Also mentioned this in my dynasty wish list, but visits could be overhauled as well. I actually like the visit system from older NCAA games than this one. Old games, you could chose a couple of activities for your recruit to do instead of just one. Need to be able to schedule complimentary visits within the same position groups. Offseason The Offseason is fine, but could also use some more improvements. Transfers We should be able to see the players who are potential transfer risks for all schools without needing a coaching perk. That is typically public knowledge throughout the season. We should be able to encourage transfers during the players leaving stage, not just at the end of the offseason. Too many players simply disappear from the game where the encourage transfer is now. If we have a young emerging player we want to start the following year, we should be able to encourage the capped out upperclassman to transfer at the beginning of the offseason. When encouraging transfers, we should be able to see their player cards. There is no option to see everything. Player caps and development trait are probably huge factors for players when encouraging transfers. Players should follow coaches in the carousel if there is a dealbreaker or real attachment to the coach that moves. This goes with the player loyalty trait I mentioned before. Offseason Development The better your coaching staff the more your team should develop. I'm sure this is how it is now, but there is no measurable way to see the development. Older games would show +# to each attribute. That should be added. Not just the + or Green arrow Players do gain/lose weight during the offseason. Allow us to have a training system that targets something for each position. Maybe we want our WR room to focus on Med Route Running, they should see a boot in that attribute. Maybe we want our DEs/Edge rushers to focus on Finesse, they should see a boost in speed and maybe they cut a few pounds. The redshirt freshmen should gain weight and see more improvement than the 5th string junior DT going into his senior year. Spring Game Set this up like a madden preseason game where each quarter different parts of the depth chart play. Even better, give us the option to customize how the spring game is played. 1 O vs 1 D, 1 O vs 2, 2 O vs 1 D, 3's vs 3s. Overall this is just a simple list, I'm sure I missed somethings, but feel free to let me know what you guys think. What else should be added/changed. What am I completely missing?Mareec314 days agoSeasoned Veteran264Views1like2CommentsI won’t buy 26 unless
We all know this game is flawed from the coaching carousel to the massive amount of patches to the fact that instead of making a game full of immersion for dynasty players off-line that is, I don’t know about online. I don’t play online, but the Sim logic is off. The coaching carousel is broken. Everybody complained about the recruiting being being off. I think it’s worse now than what it was before when the top programs year after year are just ridiculously signing 35 players at a time what’s the point they can’t use them no school ever over recruits can’t change coaching pipelines like you used to they for some reason stop that TeamBuilder is broken. You can’t play off-line team builder penalties are hit and miss. We all know the top 25 logic is busted. We all know the CFP logic is busted when you’ve got six schools from one conference making the college football playoff. This is ridiculous so you have to bend the rules to get there to wear theirs and even amount of different conferences in it 2014 as flood as it was the coaching carousel was better I like the way that you can go in you don’t have to search for your stats or your records. They’re all out there out front. The layout for finding school records is there and you don’t have to go searching for it or trying to find out What some of that stuff when you’re reading it in my school it makes absolutely no sense when the other, the other game showed you your your school and showed you what conference you were in and if you had a conference championship, it put the years on it that said you won The trophy room the ESPN Classics. There was just parts of this game that was of 2014 that was so much better than what they got now it feels to me like they did barely enough to get it out the door and then oops start making patches. Give us the ability to edit coaches You can in 2014. You can edit every coach deleting and starting them at level one I miss Lee Corso telling me who he thinks is going to win the game bring that back I for one don’t care about NIL players. They’re only there for four years and they’re gone and then you’ve got a game you can do absolutely nothing with if you’re playing dynasty so until they decide to fix a lot of of the issues that were on this game, I will not be buying the next one unless they fix it.darthcidious15 days agoSeasoned Scout31Views0likes0CommentsCoaching Carousel bugged?

I have a long standing dynasty (started with ncaa14 and ran for almost a decade) which we had started over for college fb25. Since its a large dynasty (10 users) we're only going to finish our 4th or 5th season by the time the new game comes out. Barely able to build a team in that time with recruits. It would be amazing if we could transfer/import our existing dynasty rosters, users, and stats to the new version of the game otherwise we have to start over, and there is almost no point at all to recruit, which is the best part of building a dynasty!LukeNukem71219 days agoSeasoned Novice518Views5likes1CommentNotes to Improve Dynasty Mode in NCAA 26
I'll start by emphasizing I'm happy to have it back. The following are frustrations I've had getting back in to NCAA 25. Far too many interceptions. Almost no incomplete passes, if a pass isn't caught it's picked. That's not very realistic. The offensive player rarely makes an attempt at the ball and the defender seems to run the route more quickly than the WR. Why stop at Level 50? Roster limit is unnecessary, especially given that teams will have almost scholarships raised to 105 soon. Could also offer to add recruits as walk-ons Weekly cap for amount of visits / game is also unnecessary. There aren't caps on # of visitors in reality, why institute a limit in the game? The coaching carousel is almost impossible to follow. If you are curious where coaches go it's tedious to have to go between pages to track anything. A "previous team" column would be nice and the record with previous team shouldn't read the new team the coach signed with Hopefully this is well received! Looking forward to future editions.7361e4b9f43af35823 days agoSeasoned Newcomer395Views3likes4CommentsCANNOT SEE YEARLY AWARDS IN DYNASTY MODE

Another wish list this time talking about Dynasty Mode's Coaching Trees and Carousel. Coaching Trees Real Coaches in the Game I think we all agree that real coaches would be a great addition to the game. I think this is already happening so that's even better! Starting Level and Level Cap I like the level cap honestly, but maybe raise it to 100 instead of 50. Even at 100, you would not be able to max out all of the skill trees, but it would allow you to actually have more points invested into CEO and Program Builder. Right now, if you want those, there are a ton of points to use to even unlock them after grinding to achieve the requirements. If EA would allow us to either start with more points or choose what level to start with that would be a nice add, but it's definitely not important. Grinding is part of the fun! Coaching Tree in General The CPU generated coaches pick and choose which tier of a tree they allocate their points too. I have seen a few CPU coaches with a tier 3 unlocked without unlocking tiers 1 or 2. If the CPU can do it, then we should be able to as well. During the offseason, allow us to view the details of the coaching tree instead of only seeing the Spider Chart of the Tree. This is important for building a staff as a head coach. I mentioned in a few times in other wishlists, but not being able to see the details of the tree can be detrimental to building a staff, especially when hiring former HCs as a Coordinator. Starting Trees General I like the spend 50 requirement to unlock the next level. This is really easy to do Recruiter Hands down, this is the most popular tree by far. Almost everyone chooses this as their default tree when starting a dynasty. I can't think of anything to change or add with this one. I wouldn't max out these tiers and would probably stop after tier 3 until I got everything else I wanted. Elite Recruiter - 2 top 5 classes I don't care too much for the elite recruiter, at least on my coach. I might go for coordinators with this though. Tactician Id say this is the second most popular tree of the three starters. I choose this one as my starting point when doing a coordinator dynasty run. All 4 Tiers for each position (besides K/P) are worth it Scheme Guru - Win 10 top 25 games Similar to recruiting, I don't care for the scheme guru tree as much either. They are expensive and don't seem to be as effective as some of the other boosts. Motivator I almost never choose this one as my starting tree but will eventually unlock it a few years into my dynasties. The recruiter and tactician trees are more instant, but this one takes time to grind through. It's almost not worth it right off the bat. The best abilities are all in the Tier 3 - Put in Work to get an off-season training boost. Master Motivator - Have 5 players drafted This is solid and, once again, the Tier 3 abilities are the best. This is the best to gain additional XP for your team. Advanced Trees Architect - Win 4 Rivalry Games and spend 25 in Motivator and Tactician This is one I have honestly not used but I am planning on unlocking it in my next build. The Tier 1 and 2 abilities are solid! Once your team is pretty dominant, Tier 3 would be great as well. I don't see the point in getting into Tier 4 Strategist - Win 4 Bowl Game and spend 25 in Recruiter and Tactician I agree with most of the popular threads that this tree is pointless. I would think about using this tree if one of the tiers was actually increasing the number of visits or adding more recruiting hours to your total. Maybe not adding recruiting hours, but what about recruiting hour discounts for positions?Send the house is 50 hours, but what if strategist gave you a discounted rate (10-20%) for recruiting actions? So instead of 5 for Send the house maybe it's 40 or 45 hours? Talent Developer - Have 2 players drafted and spend 25 in Recruiter and Motivator Again, this is another tree I have not really tried out. I didn't see the point in using points for the Tier 1 or 2 abilities to get to Tier 3. In my opinion, the transfer portal needs a complete overhaul for this tree to be worth unlocking. If anything the Position Whisperer and Star Maker Tiers should be the 1 and 2 Tier instead of the 3 and 4. Head Coach Exclusive Trees I like the grind it takes to unlock these trees, but that being said, for the amount of grinding, these trees are pretty mid at best Program Builder Unlocks after winning 5 playoff games Of the 7 Abilities only one of these seems like it's worth anything and that's relationship builder. Most of the other abilities seem irrelevant if we are good enough to unlock this tree. CEO Unlocks after winning 2 natties and Spend 100 in any tree Like Program Builder, there is only 1 Ability worth unlocking and that is Senior Superlatives For the amount of points and other requirements needed to unlock these two trees, I don't think it's worth getting these for 2 abilities too be honest. These exclusive and difficult trees should be more inclining to grind to unlock. I'd prefer to keep working on the other tree and get better at those sets. Final Thoughts on trees I love the depth that these trees bring to the game, but overall, the Starting Trees and Advanced trees seems more worth it than the CEO and Program Builder. Once you get good, the transfer tiers are fairly useless, good teams don't have players transferring away. If anything there should be abilities for players to transfer with your coach if we take a different job somewhere. I would reword a lot of the descriptions to be more specific with the amount of increases in each of the tiers. What does "slight increase" mean? The mind reader ability would be better in the Program Builder or CEO. The could be a more generic ability, maybe an O mind reader and D mind reader. If it's costing that much to unlock, might as well make it to where you always learn the Dev trait after a visit if the player is already scouted. Coaching Carousel I have listed somethings out about this in my dynasty wishlist. Here is a quick run down I like the week by week advancing but I like the NCAA 14 carousel even more. It there was a way to merge the two to make something similar that would be awesome. Coordinators should be promoted from time to time. I have not seen a Coordinator promoted to the HC of a program once the HC leaves. Allow us to see the detailed coaching trees during the interview process and not after the offseason. Add midseason fires and interim coaches Alma matter should mean something Allow us to persuade coordinators to stay just like we can prospective draft picks or transfers. More coaches available during the interview process. Right now there are only a handful of coaches each week. With all the movement, there should be more coaches. All coordinators in the game should realistically be available to talk to throughout the carousel. Add position coaches Thanks for taking the time to review this wishlist. Let me know what your guys would want to see updated in CFB26 coaching trees or carousel. Check out my other Wishlists as well!Mareec327 days agoSeasoned Veteran203Views0likes1CommentProposal: Separate Defensive Tackle (DT) and Nose Tackle (NT) Positions
Proposal: Separate Defensive Tackle (DT) and Nose Tackle (NT) Positions, as well as Distinct Edge and Defensive End (DE) Designations in Madden and College Football Overview: To enhance the realism, strategy, and depth of Madden’s franchise mode and College Football’s dynasty mode, I propose EA Sports splits the current “Defensive Tackle” (DT) position into two distinct positions: Defensive Tackle (DT) and Nose Tackle (NT). Additionally, I propose creating a separate position for Edge Rushers (7/9 Tech DEs) and distinguishing them from traditional Defensive Ends (5 Tech DEs). These changes would better reflect the real-life roles, alignments, and responsibilities of these positions, as well as improve roster management and gameplay fidelity. Rationale for Splitting DT into DT and NT: 1. Differences in Role and Responsibilities: • Defensive Tackle (DT): Typically aligns in the B or C gap and is more focused on penetrating the offensive line to disrupt plays. They are often 3-technique players in a 4-3 scheme. • Nose Tackle (NT): Lines up in or near the A gap, often as a 1-technique or 0-technique. Their primary role is to anchor the line, occupy blockers, and control the point of attack, especially in 3-4 schemes. • These distinctions are currently recognized within Madden’s coding (e.g., DT2 functions as an NT in 3-4 base packages and aligns in formations like 4-3 Over or Under), but the lack of a separate designation creates confusion and hinders roster management. 2. Improved Formation Accuracy: • For example, in a 4-3 Over, the NT (DT2) shades the center on the weak side, while the DT (DT1) plays the 3-technique on the strong side. • In a 4-3 Under, the NT (DT2) shades the center on the strong side, next to the 5-technique DE. • Codifying NT as a separate position aligns with the game’s current logic and would make formation customization clearer for players. 3. Consistency with Other Positional Splits: • Madden already distinguishes between Fullback (FB) and Halfback (HB), as well as Free Safety (FS) and Strong Safety (SS). These distinctions improve roster building and create clarity for specific roles. Similarly, NT and DT differ significantly in skill sets and responsibilities and deserve separate classifications. Rationale for Splitting Edge Rushers and Defensive Ends (DE): 1. Edge Rushers (7/9 Tech): Often play outside the tackles in wide alignments and are focused primarily on rushing the quarterback. This role includes players who fit a “stand-up” style in 3-4 defenses but also traditional 4-3 rush ends. 2. Defensive Ends (5 Tech): In contrast, 5-technique DEs in 3-4 schemes are often larger, tasked with setting the edge against the run, and work alongside NTs in controlling gaps. These players are fundamentally different from edge rushers in their responsibilities and physical profiles. 3. Franchise and Dynasty Mode Benefits: • Splitting DE and Edge Rushers would provide clarity when scouting and drafting players. Users could identify players who fit specific defensive schemes (e.g., a 5-tech DE for a 3-4 vs. an Edge Rusher for a 4-3). • It allows more strategic depth for roster construction and formations, ensuring teams can field appropriate personnel for their defensive schemes. How This Change Would Improve Madden and CFB: 1. Realism: Reflects real-world football strategy, where NTs and DTs, as well as Edge Rushers and traditional DEs, are distinct in their roles and skill sets. 2. Roster Management: Simplifies roster construction by ensuring players are appropriately categorized based on their natural roles. For example, a 3-4 team would focus on drafting NTs and 5-tech DEs, while a 4-3 team prioritizes DTs and Edge Rushers. 3. Gameplay Depth: Improves formation flexibility and makes defensive alignments more intuitive. Players could better exploit matchups by selecting personnel that fit their scheme. 4. Scouting and Draft Realism: Offers clearer archetypes for scouting and drafting, enabling players to find scheme-specific fits rather than relying on general attributes. Implementation Suggestions: • Split Positions: Create distinct positional designations for: • DT (3-Tech Defensive Tackle) • NT (Nose Tackle) • Edge Rusher (7/9 Tech DE or OLB) • Defensive End (5-Tech DE) • Update Depth Charts: Include these new positions in the depth chart to reflect their unique responsibilities. • Adjust Scouting and Draft Logic: Allow for specific archetypes (e.g., “Run Stopper NT” vs. “Speed Rusher Edge”) to ensure players can draft to fit their schemes. • Maintain Backward Compatibility: For users who prefer simplified roster management, allow auto-assignment of roles based on scheme selection. By making these changes, Madden and College Football could offer a more realistic and immersive experience for players, especially in Franchise and Dynasty mode. If FB and HB, or FS and SS, can coexist as distinct positions, it’s time to give DT/NT and DE/Edge the same treatment. This shift would bring Madden and College Football closer to reflecting the intricacies of modern football while improving strategic depth for players. Thank you for considering this proposal!karmelj8128 days agoNew Rookie2.5KViews2likes1Comment[Feedback] Add an option to save when playing
