Day 1 is officially here, and yet we’re still not able to edit non-NIL players within our offline or online dynasties. This has been a highly requested feature among fans for a long time. The ability to customize our players adds a significant layer of immersion and control, which is essential for a game that prides itself on realism and user experience.
Despite numerous appeals and feedback from the community, EA has remained silent on this issue. When will EA address this long-standing request??? It feels like we’re being ignored, and our voices aren’t being heard.
Given the importance of player customization to the overall enjoyment of the game, it’s frustrating that such a fundamental feature is missing! We deserve transparency and a clear response from EA on why this feature hasn’t been implemented yet!
Has anyone heard any updates or potential timelines for when we might see this change?
What are your thoughts on this ongoing issue?
Hoping this can gain traction and we can get EA to add this in the game again!

I’m more than happy to keep bumping this/bringing it up until either a resolution is provided or an official explanation is given
I can understand not having the feature available, but the lack of transparency/communication on the topic when many of us are screaming for answers…. Something’s gotta be done about that

EA absolutely needs to give an official explanation. But they would be better off just allowing the users to have full customization on everything except NIL players name, number, height, weight and bio.

How can the dynasty be so flawed? It’s literally the crown jewel of the game. 4 and 5 stars not getting offers, the sim logic in dynasty completely broken, not editing incoming recruits. This was a multi year build. How did anyone not play through Dynasty and see this stuff going on
- 2 years ago@Shanepitt3 I believe typically any testing is done on beta versions of the game and is only simulated but so many years in advance. I'd be more understanding if 4-5 stars are not getting offers if there were legal issues (fake legal issues) or academic reasons

Like it’s quite clear that at some point in the development process, they were allowing player ratings to be edited, and then the game comes out and……. That’s not the case at all?
just very puzzling

I noticed this option too. Why have the ability to lock who can edit players…. when you can’t edit players. It’s like they forgot that was in the game. Wonder when/if EA will speak up

As you mentioned, it's day one. A lot can change in the lifetime of a game, and a feature not being there on day one could be for a variety of prioritization issues that affected the development. Hopefully, something is said and the feature is added, but it may not be immediate, and they may have much higher priority (or low-effort/quick) fixes to attend to.- 12 months ago@Anobix This is quite obviously a low-effort/quick fix. As you can see in the game the coding and functions to edit player's names, ratings, jersey numbers, positions, etc is already there. It's just turned off. All they have to do is switch the user's ability to edit these. Why wait 2 or 3 weeks or 12 months to for this low-effort/quick fix that so many people are requesting?

It’s been a feature in past games, it’s so very clearly somewhere in the development of this game and all it takes is the option to turn it back on for offline players.
Of all the low effort requests that would send some goodwill their way, it feels like they aren’t even interested in listening. They have our money and all we can do is post here or on reddit, and tweet at a few people involved with the game.
