Upon launching a new dynasty, I noticed that real players that were added in the latest title update (August 29) had their archetypes randomly assigned. Some stayed with their archetype as shown in the main menu roster, but many others changed, causing their overall ratings to drop significantly in some cases. This happened without playing any games or doing any other actions in the dynasty menus.This only seems to happen for the new real players. The ones that were already previously in the game are seemingly unaffected.

This is happening with a vast majority of the newly added NIL players. It appears their archetype is changing when starting a dynasty thereby changing their OVR (to match that new archetype). It appears to only be affecting the new NIL players.I hate to be negative. But it seems like the updates for this game have been one step forward, two steps back.And let us edit non-NIL players' numbers in dynasty!!!!

After looking at it further it also looks like it is happening with some of the previously existing NIL players (from the starting roster) that had their positions updated in the most recent roster release. For example a MLB that was shifted to OLB that should be pass coverage but is showing as power rusher and 21 points off of their actual OVR. And I mean that official roster changed their position, not like a user customizing the roster.

Ok. I was hoping this would be fixed. It started Aug 29 with the title update/roster update. Then we have a title update two weeks ago. Nothing. Then a roster update today. Still nothing. To make matters worse, they changed multiple players positions (right moves in my opinion) but somehow this now causes these players to also have their OVR drop and Archetypes change when starting a dynasty now too. To summarize, they made it worse.Would it be at all possible to get some confirmation that the team is at least aware of this issue?@EA_Illium

This is terribly exhausting. I just wanna play the game I love without these stupid bugs. I think this product was screwed from the beginning and they just hoped the issues didn’t show until much later than they actually did. There’s no way they didn’t know any of this would happen. I literally haven’t tried to play the game in almost a month. I could understand if the bugs were minor. But player ratings dropping? That’s a huge freaking deal. At this point I’m not even looking forward to next year’s edition.

To be fair, this is also a problem across the board. Playing mainly as Ohio State, at least half the roster has incorrect eligibility in this game.

Yep. I started a new dynasty to see if I experienced the same issues. And yep. All there. The new players’ archetype changes, and most of their overall ratings dropped at least by 15-20 points. I noticed one new player’s rating didn’t fall as much but it still dipped. Y’all go and add the players but we can’t even use them. Net zero gain. Thanks again EA for taking my favorite game and rendering it useless.

I'm probably the weird one, but seven weeks since release and I'm still waiting to start my first real dynasty (other than a few sim trials) because of roster issues like this. I really enjoy the game, recruiting is awesome (although it needs some bug fixes). I'm itching to start. Please address the rosters and ability to edit numbers for NIL players.

It’s not weird. I don’t blame you for tryna wait them out. It's a real travesty the way they pushed this game out without properly testing everything first. No way a game with this much anticipation and literally years to workout all the glitches should have this many issues. Every game has its issues but these are overwhelming and take all the fun outta the game if you like doing anything beyond regular exhibition games. I stopped playing NCAA 14 when I encountered the recruiting glitch. You’d think they’d learn.

Yeah, I'm there with you. I started one and got hit with the playbook glitch the first day it was possible after the first big title update. Then I figured I'd just wait until rosters were updated and now we're here. I'm hoping it's not a hard fix since the playbook glitch was a similar problem and they supposedly solved that one, but I'll still be waiting until then.
