Wins/Losses Don't Matter

Has anyone experienced this:

In year 5 of online dynasty with 3 other users. In years 1-4 I made the 12 team playoff each time. In year 5, I'm 8-4 with Notre Dame, I don't make the playoff so I scroll bowl projections for an idea of who and where I may be playing. My team is projected for none of the bowl games.

Interestingly though, I do see the typical 6-6 teams. Not surprised but it catches my eye that 2 or 3 5-7 teams are slotted for bowl games. But I'm dumbfounded that there are a few 4-8 teams scheduled for bowls as well as South Alabama at 2-10 and Iowa State who is 1-11. 

No typo. I can provide screenshots for proof.

I don't know if this happened in the 1st  4 seasons because I kind of had tunnel vision on my team in the cfp. But hopefully this is not a recurring bug. Has anyone else experienced this?
