College Football 25 Road To Glory dropped the ball
Why are the DL, TE, and Safety positions left out of Road To Glory mode? DL especially should've been included. One of the most satisfying plays in all of football is sacking the quarterback. Across all of football, sack leaders are always Defensive lineman. Not to mention the occasional fumble recovery or interception return by a big lineman rumbling towards the endzone, followed by the always entertaining big guy celebration. On another subject, why do I grind with my RTG player for four years in CF25 only to have their ratings completely dwindled in Madden 25 superstar mode? If it's to simulate the transition from college to the pros at least allow me to work back up to my CF25 ratings. Having a 99 overall 6' 3 215lb WR with 99 speed dropped to 70 something overall and limited to 93 max speed in Madden makes all the grinding seem like a big waste of time and money for people who buy both games. Another thing, why are headbands, durags, etc. and certain hairstyles not available to RTG and Superstar mode players across both CFB25 and Madden 25 but you see them on players in the game (the headbands etc. in Madden 25....excluded hairstyles in both games) I mean, if its in the game? It should be in the game. Available to us all. One final point, please for the love of your diehard football game fans, create a database, pool, list or whatever in both games so that our RTG and Superstar mode players first and last names are called during gameplay. There are some last names that are called but it's pretty much hit and miss as it is now. I wouldn't think it would be hard, especially if you use the names of players already in the College and NFL games. This has been done for years in other sports games, I've heard it's even done in other EA sports titles. So why not in EA's football games? With that being said, I've only returned to playing EA sports titles with the return of College Football and I have, for the most part, enjoyed it. Side note, that upgrade system in CF25 RTG needs a complete overhaul. Shouldn't grind for 10 plus skill points only to have some ratings only increase by one point(sometimes they don't increase at all) and have no control over which ratings increase and by how much. The only slight work around is to quit the game completely from the upgrade screen( Do Not press the back button on the upgrade screen or the ratings will be saved as is. Use the controller home key.) by going to your console home screen and launch the game again then retry the upgrade repeatedly until you get the desired results. It shouldn't be that way. Again, all this just to have your player ratings destroyed in Madden 25 Superstar mode. We play these games to create Freak Superstar Athletes, not Average Joes.
