How to have qb throw lob pass for road to glory wr

Is there a button or sequence your supposed to press to be able to get the cpu qb to throw lob passes when playing wide receiver. I keep having plays where I burn a cb to the outside and have him behind and on the inside hip and the cpu keeps throwing bullet passes that the cb knocks down easily when im wide open for a lob.
