Info on Rivals promo

Can anyone help point me in the direction to where I can get info on how the rivals programs currently works?

From what i understand, a packed rivals player adds +5 to your scheme chemistry. But, if you change the team chemistry on the card to align with your team chemistry, it will only add +1 to scheme chem (just like any non-rivals card). Is that the case?

I'm also confused because i just added a packed rivals player to my squad w no change to team chem and scheme chem only went up one. Can anyone show me where EA has explained how this promo is currently working, or, if you already know, can you please tell me?

And to anyone from EA reading this: you should try to do a better job providing this type of info to your players. basic stuff like how a promo works, what days the weeklies reset, regular crap like that, should not be hard to find. People shouldn't have to be searching reddit or posting questions to message boards for basic questions on how the game is supposed to work. Create a new page with general info on the cfb.fan site, or put it in the cfb official Twitter feed, just SOMETHING. And I'm not gonna watch a two hour twitch stream during work hours just to get basic info like this. It's stupid. Communicate with your player base.
