To add to what you have said. If you start any play regardless of the position you chose. Snap the ball and set your controller aside and if you are not going to get the ball you player will execute blocks on its own. For most of the plays you are going to either not get the ball or you are going to just be relegated to blocking for about 80+% of the time. Also, they should have not messed with RTG game play. It was bad enough that they took away the High School Experience, but the completely change the way Road To Glory plays. They did not have to change RTG just because the changed the graphics and other upgrades to the overall game. There was nothing wrong with the RTG format from the old games. I should know! I have played ever NCAA College Football game that EA made and I have played ONLY the Road To Glory mode. I really don't care about the other modes. I just want Road To Glory to go back to the way it was. It can be done utilizing all of the current upgrades to the game. I am sooooo frustrated with this game that I have stopped playing it. By the way I am one of the more Senior (69 years young) gamers playing this game that I know of. So I am not writing this lightly. I have been waiting (much like so many others) for the new game to come out and I am so disappointed in the new game. It like the only wanted to put in the effort in the other modes with no care about the fans of the Road To Glory fans. On another note. I forgot to mention that I have been playing as a 5 star recruit playing for Colorado, who in the first year had to sit in the RB3 position for all games before I was finally able to move to the RB1 position after position battles my second year I won the Heisman, Best RB, Best Offensive player, All first Team. but in my Junior year I was sent back to RB4 and sat on the bench for 90% of my Junior year. My Senior year I was able to retain my RB1 after position battle in last couple of game in my Junior year. However I didn't get the ball hardly ever, either running or passing. I had to sit and watch the graphs moving up and down the field simulating the game play while I just watched. I started a new RTG as a WR thinking that maybe I would get more playing time. NOT!!! While it was much easier to win the position battles with a WR I still blocked more than I ever received the ball. I started my WR at Kansas and oh boy was that ever a mistake! The RB was so good (I think a little too good) that at even WR1 I rarely got the ball. I played two years with Kansas and maybe had a total of 20-25 balls thrown to me. I decided to go into the Portal. Went to Oklahoma and that situation was even worse. While I was a day one starter I still almost never received the ball when I wasn't just watching the game play itself. One game the RB had 685 yards and 10 touchdowns and I had 3 catches for 34 yards. That is when I kinda figured out that something was seriously wrong with the game. So, I decided to experiment. I would snap the ball and lay my controller down beside me just to see what would happen. What should have happened was that my WR would just stand there but NO, that was not the case. He would run and block according to the play that was called. Also, I was never able to utilize and other play calls. I was stuck with just the one play calls for all the games that I played and I played two complete school years. At that point I was soooooooo disappointed and frustrated at that time I just quit. I WILL NOT BE PLAYING THIS GAME AGAIN, until EA fixes the mess that they have created. Like I said before. I was and am a Die Hard Road To Glory fan but this Road To Glory is simply TRASH. I am so sorry that I pre-paid $90 for the Deluxe Addition so that I could play 3 days early. I sincerely hope that EA gets its act together and fixes RTG before they lose more customers and fans of the College football experience. Personally, I could care less about the other modes!!! Just bring back the old RTG with the new game play enhancements and the game will be GREAT again. On that note, I will just go back to playing my MLB the Show until they fix the College Football 25's RTG!!!!! Thanks!!!
