RTG POSITIONS

I'd love to play DE but my guess as to why they didn't include a position is that "Edge" players range from OLB or DE. What if I sign as a DE with a team that plays a 4-3 defense and I get a new coach who switches to a 3-4 defense and I'm playing inside now as a DE? People would be angry. The game would have to offer me a chance to switch to OLB. What if I don't want OLB because I just want to rush the QB? I agree, that we should have DE as a position but I'm not sure the developers have figured out how to fix this issue.
