Several times when scoring in the fourth quarter (less than 20 seconds left in game) (maybe other quarters as well) the simulation has the opponent score a touchdown within 2 seconds of myself scoring. There is no realism to this, its as if the code is written for me to lose specific games.
There seems to be an issue with simming time management. Like you said the CPU can consistently score in 30 seconds or less at the end of each half. And the clock will stop running when your team sims, so sometimes your team will punt early and give the other team 40 extra seconds to go score. I hope EA is aware of that.
