My game has been stuck in this state since Wednesday. For as much money as I’ve spent gambling on packs, this is a joke. Had a good 8-10 cards I was planning to sell that evening when I got home from work, and all have since tanked in value which likely will end up costing me 400-600k in coins, and knowing how little EA cares about their customers, I know there’s a zero percent chance they are going to do anything to help rectify that. As someone who works in the sales industry, I honest to god cannot think of a company with worse customer support, morals, and product management than EA. Y’all essentially just copy and paste the same game year after year but with updated rosters and the absolute bare minimum as far a qualify of life upgrades go, yet somehow don’t have enough money to hire developers competent enough to make the most profitable part of the entire game simply open and be playable for a decent chunk of your players. The “we are aware of the issue and are looking into it” is an acceptable response for the first day or so, but it’s now the weekend and the issue still hasn’t been fixed.
In my line of work, people are held accountable for their mistakes, and customers who have been on the receiving end of said mistakes are made a priority and we do everything in our power to make sure they are taken care of. The fact that this bug has been present since Wednesday and is still not fixed and likely won’t be until some time next week is a complete joke and anyone working on this game should be flat out embarrassed by the product that they’ve put out. Was really hoping this game would be a turning point for EA, but y’all are continuing to prove that it’s just a slightly different Madden but with college uniforms and stadiums. EA has plenty of money, go out and hire a team of individuals who take pride in their work and actually PLAY THE GAME so they have first hand experience of all the issues and bugs.
