Offline Dynasty Teambuilder

You guys, they’ve done this to us every year in every game, (FIFA, Madden, NHL you name it). Promise a feature like they did here saying team builder would be offline, and shocker it’s online dynasty only. Since they can’t make money off of it they won’t update it for us. It’s been a steep downfall for offline users since ultimate team came out. They’ve completely disregarded offline modes in all their games despite promises to improve (or in other words, bring back old features they took out for no reason). They’re not updating this title for offline, they’re not giving it to us next year and if they say they will, don’t hold your breath because they lied this time. I also spent $100 for early access only and got screwed, but it doesn’t matter they got paid. This is why I wait for all EA titles to go on sale, I just got excited on this one for nostalgia thinking they’d bring all the good features back, but we can’t even upgrade our campus in this one, they’ll probably add it back as a “new exciting feature!” Even though it isn’t new at all.. 

@EA_Kent is there ever going to be any word on being able to play offline dynasty with our team builder teams? A patch for this version? Will it be allowed in 26? It won’t be an option? I’d like to at least know something, so I can either look forward to it being right, or just give up on ever playing the game again. This is the biggest disappointment that I’ve ever experienced in a game I was so excited for (and I saved up and took a time off to play Anthem). I preordered it, made my custom team days in advance, and have only played 3 games since release. 

Everybody who is pissed off about this needs to file for arbitration with EA.  You will win your arbitration case.  If everybody eligible does this then EA will stand to lose enough money and be forced to actually put Teambuilder in offline mode.  

The only way EA does something about this, is if they lose more money than they think they will make in the future.

EA has another thing coming if they think they can "fix" this next year and think we'll all come back with our tails between our legs.  If they don't make up for this bait and switch this year, I'm never returning to EA Football and would gladly join that class action.

The reason is people won't buy next year's game if they don't lock teambuilder teams behind online only.  What really angers people is that you have to pay for an online service to access it.  Some people don't play online games so the service is useless for them outside of using it for online teambuilder.

I'm almost positive somebody out there is already putting together the false advertising lawsuit, and I'm sure it will eventually go class action.  This is too easy a win for a lawyer not to take the case.

There is zero reason that we can't play TeamBuilder teams in offline Dynasty. Zero! What's the point in being able to create so many schools if you can't actually use them? I loved to add multiple schools back in the day and play offline dynasty and use them all. The fact that everything up to the release said it would be available for offline Dynasty and yet it's not is shady as hell. Had I known I may not have purchased the game. Definitely wouldn't have purchased it early, even though TeamBuilder wasn't available until release and wasn't usable for me and many others until a few weeks after release.

There's absolutely no legit reason that I was able to play with multiple custom teams in an offline dynasty a decade ago and can't now.

Maybe I was playing 2K back then and EA has never allowed it. I just know that I did play that way and loved every minute of it.

The bait and switch BS with it though is beyond irritating.

Nothing because they did it for shady reasons.  They don't have a real reason for not allowing teambuilder teams in offline dynasty other than greed.  This is proven by being able to use teambuilder teams while offline in PLAY NOW.
