Keeps asking me to reset password and telling me ea servers are unavailable at this time. Been this way for a week now

I've been trying for over a week to play online and it asks me to change my EA password to do so. I do it and it doesn't work. I've changed my password and tried to login at least 20 times. This is egregious for a new game in 2024. I'm on an Xbox S.
