Setting Peak Brightness to 'Off' reduces the ABL feature's aggressiveness but also reduces the panel's peak brightness in all scenes, which makes the TV look dimmer all the time.

Personally, I bought the "Service Remote" in order to access the hidden service menu to disable ABL completely but you do this at your own risk as you can REALLY mess up your TV via this menu.
