Click the + sign next to "AV amplifier audio settings". Try changing the setting for number of channels. Make sure this doesn't say 5.1 or 7.1.

  • I had to adjust HDMI device type to AV amplifier to get the AV amplifier info to become whited out to be able to change. Now I have the choice between 2 ch or 5.1 or 7.1 as seen in this pic. Was it not already correct with TV as the selected choice for HDMI device type?

If you're only using your TV speakers, change the setting on the left to TV Speakers. If you're using headphones, choose the headphones option.

  • Yeah trying to use TV speakers. On the left it has the option to set up 3D audio for tv speakers that’s all I’m seeing is that what you’re referring to?

Part of the screen is cut off, but it says TV Speakers and Headphones. You should be able to choose TV Speakers to output your audio there.

  • I set up the 3D audio for tv speakers and magically it started working. So weird. Thanks for the suggestions though I’m stoked we found the fix!
