🪲 BUG REPORT: Twist/Stunt Assignments Not Executing Online

PSN:ea-_-monster

Platform: PlayStation 5

Game Mode: Online Head-to-Head / Custom Playbook

Defensive Scheme: Multiple Fronts (e.g., Nickel Over, 3-3, 4-3)

Bug Type: Gameplay – Defensive Assignments

❗️Issue Summary:

Twist and stunt assignments (such as El Paso and other loop/twist calls) do not function correctly in online play. The play art displays correctly pre-snap, but once the ball is snapped, defenders default to stock pass-rush assignments, as if the twist/stunt was never called. This behavior is not consistent with how these same calls behave in Play Now or Offline vs CPU matches.

🧪 Steps to Reproduce:

1. Go into a custom or default defensive playbook.

2. Choose a play and assign a stunt/twist adjustment such as “El Paso” or another twist from the adjustment wheel.

3. Pre-snap play art shows the correct looping path or crossing DL assignment.

4. At the snap, defenders do not execute the twist. Instead, they rush straight upfield as if no stunt was ever assigned.

🎯 Expected Behavior:

Twists and stunt calls (like El Paso) should execute as shown in the play art, regardless of whether the game is played offline or online. This is crucial for sim-style defenses and playbook customization.

💬 Additional Notes:

This breaks a core element of advanced defensive strategy, especially in competitive leagues and simulation-based dynasties. Users rely on visual pre-snap cues and assignment integrity, but when these don’t translate into gameplay, it damages the realism and competitive balance.

Please investigate and patch this bug. Twist/stunt logic is a key part of defensive scheming and currently unusable online.
