Auto recruiting is broken

So after wrapping up a Texas A&M Dynasty, where I went 12-2. I simulated each week of the transfer portal , and I only got 1 recruit. I checked to see if auto recruiting was on and it was. This is really frustrating because I mainly play this game for offline dynasty and I can’t even enjoy it without spending more time in recruiting than in actual gameplay
