Can't motion block WRs in game despite being able to in practice.

Why can I motion block square in practice but not games? Is that a bug? It won't let me hike the ball until square goes to the other side of the field when I motion him in games. I was able to motion block square in the last game and practice in this game. The play is in Ohio State's Offense. It's Mesh Whips in Trio Y-Flex.
