Same thing happens with my custom playbook. It might have something to do with too many plays being starred for each situation. Idk though, that's no excuse, they should tell us how many plays can be in certain situations, or just update their game to accommodate our playbooks. 500 plays isn't even a lot and they've been saying for several years that they were going to increase the upper limit on that going back to when Madden was the only game, and they haven't.
I've gotten around it by going into practice and setting a bunch of plays as my favorites. Usually only a couple from each formation, then I can go into no huddle and be able to call any play from that set as the next play. Either that or I've been using the play types to find a play that fits the situation. It's not great and when coach suggestions actually work that system is far better. But as of right now the coach suggestions do not work so this is the best alternative. I'm so glad I wasted 5 hours adding plays and rating every single one of them /s
I agree that I think there’s SOME kind of formula to this, albeit wrong. I just can’t tell if it’s too many plays, too few plays, not enough plays starred highly, too many plays starred highly, etc. etc. lol
