I created a playbook and rated the plays in gameplan for every situation. Coach suggestions are the same 6 plays over and over, regardless of down/distance/situation. Also it defaults to suggesting Onside Kick every time. Makes the game unplayable until this is patched.

I don't have Madden 26, but it sounds like the exact same issue is happening there too with no fix in sight. Wild how EA can just completely break features that have worked for years and yet refuse to fix them lol

This clearly isn't even close to being a priority for them. I'm starting to think we won't get this fixed until (maybe) next year, which is completely unacceptable. I might honestly explore a refund, I massively regret trading in 25 for this game.
Bump! Unreal this still hasn’t been fixed. Game has been out a while now and plenty of threads about this issue and comments.
It worked perfectly fine in 25 should be no reason they can’t get this right. Realllyyyyyy takes away form the appeal of custom playbooks
