Extra Point triggered but not kicking

I scored a Touchdown and went to kick the extra point.  Ball was snapped but kicker did not move.  I have been sitting watching the game continue after the snap for about 5 minutes now.  The holder has been displaced so is no longer lined up with the kick meter - I don't know how it happened as it occurred while I was searching for how to submit a bug and making sure nobody else had reported similar.  The defense and the offense (aside from the kicker and holder) are continuing to block/fight at about the 25 (well behind the kicker and holder).  My controller is vibrating endlessly from the engagement (I hit the "O" button to see if it would switch the player I was attached to, and I'm on another player but have no control - but they are engaged in the blocking).  I was hoping a player might break free to "block" the kick somehow to at least end the play, but that has not happened.  I have no idea how someone might replicate this bug.

After an indeterminate amount of time, the play just stopped with an injury timeout and my opponent receiving 1 point.  Looking at the replay, the long snapper never snapped the ball and was the player I was switched to.  The defense slowly pushed the long snapper down the field and and out of bounds through the end zone.  The replay was so long that it didn't even start at the snap, it instead started where the long snapper had already been pushed to around the defensive 20 ("Own 20").  The replay, on fast forward, took nearly a minute from that point.

I did successfully kick a 47 yard field goal later in the same quarter.  Game was able to be completed regularly.

I do have the instant replay saved as a game capture, but I'm not able to get it moved from my system at this time.
