Manual progression bug

There’s a bug on PS5, where manually progressing players takes way longer than it needs to. Every couple of points that are put on an attribute, it’ll stop letting you put points on and say you don’t have enough points (which is clearly wrong). So, you have to back out of the screen and go back into it to put on a few more points before it does it again. It makes manual progression take too long and it’s a pain to have to keep backing out and going back into the screen.

Why can’t we just have a system that lets you use your direction pad to increase how many points are going into it before holding X to accept it? Wouldn’t that be easier? If I have 45 skill points for a player after training week, why not just let me use all 45 at once instead of having to hold X 10 times to use them all? Complete oversight on EA’s part. I thought this game was supposed to be better…

  • I came here to see if anyone had reported this.  I experienced this yesterday with a friend in an online dynasty.

I am on Xbox and he is on PS4.  When we were trying to manually progress our players at the same time, it would occasionally tell me I didn't have enough points (when I did) and it would change the team logo behind my player to his team logo.  I would then have to back out and go back in to upgrade more attributes.

This only happened when we were progressing at the same time.  We discovered that if one player leaves the progression screen the bug stops happening for the other.
