Option Button Not Working When Not Selecting a Team

I have a PS5, and the option button doesn't work with exhibition games and I select neither team to play with.  Pressing the option button does nothing.  I do not see an error message.  I am not playing the game online, but my gamertag is UGADawg2009.  This only seems to apply when using the remote control wirelessly.  I am unable to exit the exhibition game unless I exit the entire NCAA game.  Please fix.
