RB Issue

I play in coach mode, meaning I select the play and let AI take over. My running backs consistently run outside when the play is designed to go inside. The running backs don't follow the running lanes/blocking, but instead bounce to the outside right into the defenders. Then when I select outside run plays, the defenders have a difficult time coming off the blocks and my running backs get easy yards. Very frustrating.
