I downloaded college football 26 and they’re playing it for weeks. Now it says EA play trial. This trial can only be played on the account that downloaded it. Please sign back into the account and restart the game and continue your progress. No matter what I do, I cannot play the game. I own the game. I did not ever download the trial. How do I play the game?
Same. I spent an hr trying to fix it with xbox support. only for them to tell me its on the EA side.

I have the same issue. They seemingly made it working after spending 3 hours in chats. Then after 1 hour I got hard locked out of the game again with "This trial can only be played on the account that downloaded it. Please sign back into that account and restart the game to continue your progress."
I do not believe that EA is reading this, given that I have seen forum posts about this issue since Madden 24, but the start date of EA Play subscription is wrongly dated to 22-Apr-2026, so there was likely some update to the license in their backend that causes this issue, as this is the date when I got first locked out.
My EA customer support ticket only states that this case is supported with their customer support.
This is code red issue, as I want to play Ultimate Team and spend lots of money there, but EA seemingly does not want my money.
