Road to Glory Academics Bug?

I had just finished week 7 as a starter, and have been balancing the weekly agenda as much as possible, consistently with academics. My gpa was 3.4 before exam week, and as I advanced the week, suddenly I lost all of my academic progress, had an advisor say I got straight C’s and now I’ve lost “fan favorite”, have a gpa at 3.0 and no way to get past the fail block on exam week (week 8).

I hope this is a bug, because I have read how others have gotten benched because they can’t overcome the academic slider.
