RRR no longer at Cotton Bowl, no more rivalry weekend

This first started with a previous started dynasty, I tried the Protected Opponents Button and I selected Texas A&M and Oklahoma as Texas’s Protected Opponent, suddenly Texas A&M was no longer during rivalry week, and The Red River Rivalry was no longer at the cotton bowl but instead hosted at either Texas or Oklahoma. I started over with a new dynasty and didn’t even touch the Protected Opponents Button but yet it did the same exact thing, All I want is tradition how do I fix this
