RTG, Team Never Takes FGs

So, I’ve been playing Road to Glory as a QB at UVA, and have noticed that every time I get into FG territory (whether that be at the 40, or literally on the 10 yd line) and we send the special teams out, they never kick an actual FG. They just punt the ball, and the opposite teams ends up starting on their 1 yd line. I’ve checked the play call roll every time, and that happens. It’s my first year in this save, but I also noticed it in another save recently as well. Is anyone else having this problem? It’s infuriating because it’s actually leading to lost games.
