Safety punt gives other team possession if you don’t touch it
Got a safety on the other team they did the free kick and I didn’t touch it they downed it and it gave them possession of the ball

Noticed this last year... Also, if the safety punt goes outta bounds, the kicking team is penalized, but the ball goes to YOUR own 30 yard line... (It should be at the 40)
that would be because if the "kicking team" recovers the ball on the "free kick attempt" it would be their ball...you have to field it.
