School Grade Bugs

I have two bugs to report. For context, I am playing an offline dynasty as UNLV.

  1. I have played two nationally televised games so far. One game against Sam Houston and one game against UCLA. The schedule says both were televised. But in the recruiting context, the game has counted neither of these games as being nationally televised and is giving me an F in the “brand exposure” category since it believes I have played zero televised games. This might force me to end this dynasty because I have no way to improve brand exposure, except playoff games and games of the week… But I’m not sure the game would count them properly either.

  2. A smaller issue, but I’m getting an F for “playing style” for all receivers when they have 25 receptions collectively. I believe the issue is that the game is viewing those 25 receptions in the context of being four weeks into the season, but I’ve only played two games, and I don’t see how 12 receptions by receivers per game would be worth an F.

  • Me personally I believe playing style to be the bigger issue because a lot of players have it and how it attracts it stats are bugged right now. see my discussion post if you were an example it’s right above yours. I can also guarantee you that your game versus Sam Houston wasn’t nationally televised. You can check this via tv tab under team schedule. I feel like Sam Houston game had like an iPad looking TV site which is the lowest in terms of brain exposure now your UCLA might have had a plus tower but remember every team in the nation for the most part is having televised games just like you and so you need to do better than them to increase your brain exposure. So you won’t see the benefits of this truly until later on in the season.

Both games had the cell tower, so they should have been counted, even if they didn’t mean much lol.

    -Update-

I ran some simulated dynasties, both off-line and online, try to figure out more about what’s going on here. I believe there are two issues in play:

    1. The scheduling side appears to be overusing broadcast labels and assigning games to be nationally or locally broadcasted that are not actually the case. On my end, 80 to 90% of the games get the national broadcast label and most of the leftovers get the local broadcast label, with only a small handful ever going unlabeled. It would make sense that you would not want 90% of the games to be treated equally in terms of brand exposure. So on the recruiting side, the game is likely tracking the games as intended, but this does not match the scheduling side because the scheduling side is overusing the labels. Note: this is consistent with Jojo‘s above suggestion.
    2. Locally broadcast games are not being counted at all towards brand exposure on the recruiting side.
