Stunts do not register during play call

When picking a play, I choose a stunt but when the play is called it does not register it goes to the default. I am able to choose a stunt during a lineman audible. But it’s more convenient to choose a stunt during play call because the offense will hike the ball before a player makes the necessary defensive adjustments
