QB Road to Glory Crash during 2nd quarter of rain game

I started a RTG with a QB yesterday and mostly simmed through the first season as I wasn’t a starter (but was able to play a few games end of the season). 

In the second season now and game 6 keeps crashing repeatedly. It’s always a raining away game and crashes in the 2nd quarter. It seems to crash as it transitions from playing and super simming or vice versa but I can’t say with full confidence that is always the case. 

I’ve done all the trouble shooting suggested by the error code including deleting and reinstalling and this did not fix the issue. An EA support person suggested restoring licenses, using default playbooks, and simming past the second quarter. I tried all but simming past the 2nd quarter because RTG doesn’t allow for user controlled super sim. None of the other suggestions fixed the crashing. I’ll just sim past the problem game and see if the issue persists. Anyone else experiencing similar issues or have suggestions? An absolute joke to pay $70 or $100 for a game that crashes more than 2 weeks after launch and no one in support seems to know why.
