This is pitiful, honestly
For the life of me I don’t understand how a game can be can be gone for over a decade and the re released and this is the product that you give the people, all we want is to be able to play an entire season in high school. All we want is for there to be some sort of common sense when it comes to the playcalling and AI simulation. There is no way anyone at EA could have played this BS and thought this was a quality product. I’ve given you all two chance, last year and this year. I won’t give you all a third I will never was my money on this bs againLoudWayLane4 days agoNewcomer23Views0likes0CommentsMike RTG is broke
I have to get on my knees and suck the devils **bleep** to get 3 tackles in the whole game. If there is a teammate 20ft. away from your tackle you automatically get assisted tackle. The online has the grip of a **bleep** silver back gorilla but any of my team members can shed and make a tackle with no **bleep** problems. The qb sits on his **bleep** thumb when I dont rush and gets his **bleep** eaten out by any of my team members. The moment I rush the qb its like every **bleep** wide receiver is automatically open and my cb and safeties are non existent. Sacking the qb is out of the question, you have a better chance sucking trumps **bleep**. Fix this **bleep** game!46Views1like1CommentScoreboard Color Issue in Road to Glory
Hi EA Sports Team, I really enjoy playing Road to Glory in EA Sports College Football 26, especially as a wide receiver. However, I’ve noticed a small issue during offensive plays. The down and distance graphic (down and yards to go) sometimes appears in the opponent’s team colors instead of my team’s colors. This can be a bit confusing during gameplay. I know it’s not a major issue, but it would definitely improve the experience if the colors matched the user’s team while on offense. Thank you for your time and for continuing to improve the game!16Views0likes0CommentsNo punt return or kick return in rtg
My wr has a 95 return rating and is the starting kick off and punt returner yet again like last year it sims through it. Like dang bruh 70 bucks on this game for yall to not change any of the faces for rtg or hair styles or positions, like ok cool but I can’t return punts bro!! COME ON! Or even play both sides of the ball in highschool like ok I get not being able to in college because it’s not very common besides Charles Woodson and as of late Travis Hunter but in highschool I played both sides of the ball and pretty much our entire team did. If you was good you could start at lineback and tight end of quarterback and safety. Uuugh hopefully this will be added next year because sadly it was in the game in ncaa 14. How hard is it to copy everything from a precious master piece of a game but with the graphics and animations of today?5KViews2likes10CommentsThis game sucks
This game sucks. Whoever designed the road to glory should be fired. You had the blueprint with NCAA 14. Just make that game with updates. Why can't we just play a full high school senior season and let the stats define our rating? This moments thing is stupid as hell. Do better EA!Coltsguy188811 days agoSeasoned Newcomer779Views6likes5CommentsRoad to Glory Hat Selection Crashing
RTG keeps crashing every time I try I enter the hat selection scene. I don’t know what to do at this point. I’ve rebuilt the database, checked that the system and game is up to date. Deleted all saved data, local and cloud. Reinstalled the game. Cleaned my ps5. Cleared cache on ps5. Restarted my ps5. Deleted existing RTG game files and tried starting new ones. Literally everything outside of hard resetting my console. Which I shouldn’t have to do because this is the only game that crashes my ps5. Is there anything I can do to play this game? Am I missing something? I’ve looked through countless forums and tried to troubleshoot and nothing works. The game remains UNPLAYABLE.41Views0likes1CommentSave your Money!!
This is the worst football game I've ever played and I've been playing since 1st and 10 on Nintendo. I've never struggled so much to do the basics in a game. This is the first time I've ever wanted to return a game after playing. I should have played the demo. Run as fast as you can!!25Views0likes0CommentsAre EA servers down?
I give with EA i can't get any help from these people. Madden 26 superstar mode has been down since Sunday Superbowl Sunday. They won't give me no solution to when they will get this fixed. So I decide to go play NCAA college football Road to Glory but it I get error message can't connect to EA servers. EA how hard is this you take our money each year but yet we can't play the games you sell us. BIGBLUE40701139Views0likes1CommentCatch animations
Yall gotta add better catch animations this is actually insane, I can’t even do a proper jump ball, and if it is a jump ball my receiver would do the weakest jump animation I have ever seen. Like come on now no way I’m jumping 2 centimeters off the ground and either gets picked off or I completely don’t catch it at all. No way a 6’3 receiver with 99 catch and 98 spectacular catch isn’t winning majority jump balls. Get someone who actually played the sport to help animate a grown man jumping for a ball46Views0likes0Comments- 18Views0likes0Comments
Road to Glory
So uh I have a RB on road to glory. And I just realized that my RB is the punt returner for my team. Why do I not have control on that? I don't quite understand that. If It's my character, I should have full control everytime he is on the fieldJXMaxwell351 month agoSeasoned Newcomer193Views0likes1CommentAllowing kick returns in RTG
I’ve noticed that with my running back builds that are starting returners, they have kick and punt return stats without me having returned a single kick. Would recommend updating the simulation system to allow the ability to play all snaps even if it’s a return.DocMoor3141 month agoNew Traveler137Views0likes0CommentsTakeoff not working
I created a backfield threat RB with the thought of having a Speedster Wr in HB form. However, after finally getting takeoff and upgrading up to gold, I am unable to activate the ability. I’ve lined him up in 5 wide settings and not getting pressed and it still doesn’t activate. Disappointing as without takeoff, the backfield threat doesn’t have anything special about it and is useless in RTG. Anyone have tips on what I could be doing wrong?DocMoor3141 month agoNew Traveler58Views0likes0CommentsWR BTG BOTCHED
There is a serious bug in the game, specifically the RAC attack drill/position battle. The drill is. impossible to complete because the quarterback automatically drops the ball rather than handing it off. Obviously, you cannot continue your road to glory. If you do not complete the position battle therefore, this disrupt the entire road to glory experience. I hope EA could see this and fix it and I hope others are able to relate to this experience because it is annoyingAceyoo_51 month agoRising Newcomer145Views1like2Comments- 27Views0likes0Comments
College Football 27
To the EA Sports College Football Development Team, As a Senior Project Manager, my job is to identify high-value opportunities, anticipate risks, and provide a clear vision for project success. I am also a dedicated College Football player who spends 100% of my time in Road to Glory (RTG). This document is not a simple "wishlist." It is a strategic analysis of high-ROI (Return on Investment) features designed to increase player engagement, long-term retention, and competitive differentiation for CFB 27 and beyond. My feedback is structured in two parts: RTG: The "Player-First" Career: A detailed proposal for transforming RTG into the undisputed best-in-class sports career mode. Core Opportunities (Dynasty/Presentation): Key community-vetted features that create a more robust and "sticky" ecosystem. Part 1: The "Player-First" Career (A Strategic Vision for RTG) RTG is currently good, but it has the potential to be a revolutionary, "forever" mode. This requires a focus on Player Agency, Universe Persistence, and Dynamic Reaction. 1.1. Feature: The "RTG Legacy" System (High-ROI Replayability) Problem: RTG has a "hard stop" conclusion. When a player is drafted, the entire save file, including its history and the player's emotional investment, is effectively deleted. This leads to mode-churn. Solution: Implement a "Legacy" option. Upon the conclusion of one player's career (draft/retirement), give the user the option to "Create a New Prospect" within the same save file. Implementation Details: This new player enters the college football "universe" as it has evolved (e.g., coaches have moved, prestige has shifted, their original player is now an "NCAA Legend"). Offer the option to skip the high school intro to balance the experience (e.g., no "intro bonus skill points" if skipped on the first RTG). Strategic Rationale: This is a low-cost, high-impact feature. It dramatically increases the "stickiness" of a single save file, enhances long-term player investment, and creates a powerful, emergent narrative engine that costs no development time to script. 1.2. Strategic Imperative: Preserve Player Agency (The Key Competitive Differentiator) Problem: Competing sports titles (Madden, 2K) are widely criticized in the community for their linear, restrictive, unskippable "story modes" and rigid player "builds." This is a significant market pain point. Solution: Protect and expand the sandbox nature of RTG. The ability for players to fully customize sliders and skill levels is the mode's single greatest strength. Strategic Rationale: This is your key competitive differentiator. By not forcing a rigid, "on-rails" story, you are directly addressing the #1 complaint of the modern sports gamer. This philosophy will attract and retain players burned out by competing titles. The "story" should be what happens on the field, not a pre-baked cutscene. 1.3. Feature: "Player-Driven Recruiting" (A Dynamic Reward Loop) Problem: The RTG player is currently a passive observer of their team's future. There is a disconnect between player performance and team building. Solution: Implement a system that enables the RTG player to become an active recruiting participant. Implementation Details: Dynamic Goals: When a key recruit (especially one in a related position, such as WR/OL) is on a campus visit, provide the player with a dynamic, position-specific goal. (e.g., "Impress 5-Star WR [Name]: Throw for 300+ yards & 3 TDs."). Player Interaction: Add a simple weekly menu option to "Host Recruit on Visit" or "Make Pitch," providing a slight boost/risk based on your player's archetypes or stats. Strategic Rationale: This creates a powerful, immediate reward loop. It directly connects on-field performance to a tangible, long-term roster-building outcome, making every "big game" feel even more consequential and increasing player agency. 1.4. Feature: AI-Driven "Narrative Commentary" (Synergistic Immersion) Problem: Commentary is often generic and unaware of the player's specific, emergent journey. Solution: Leverage AI to create a dynamic commentary system that acts as the "narrative glue" for all other systems. Strategic Rationale: This feature multiplies the value of all other features. The commentary should actively remember and reference: Legacy Players: "And that's a new record for the freshman, breaking the one set by his 'legacy' predecessor, [Player 1's Name], just a few seasons ago!" Recruiting Success: "What a connection! And folks, [My Player] was a huge reason this star freshman signed here, and you're seeing that chemistry pay off." Past Milestones: "He's back in the Heisman race, a trophy he just narrowly missed out on last season." Part 2: Core Strategic Opportunities (Community-Vetted Pillars) While I am an RTG player, a strong ecosystem enhances the entire game. These are the most-requested community features, re-framed in terms of their strategic value. 2.1. Dynasty: The "True Program-Builder" Experience Goal: Create a "forever mode" that rivals the depth of titles like Football Manager or Out of the Park Baseball. Key Features: Complete Staff Management: Hiring/firing a whole staff (OC, DC, Position Coaches) with unique skill trees and a realistic "coaching carousel."Accurate Scouting: A system based on "fog of war" scouting to find "3-star gems," not just a point-buy system. Facility/Program Upgrades: A long-term budget sink for upgrading stadiums, training rooms, and academic centers to build a program over decades. Rationale: This caters to the "simulation" player base, a highly engaged and loyal demographic that values depth and long-term planning above all else. 2.2. Presentation: A "Living, Breathing College Universe" Goal: Make the user's game feel like one part of a larger, reactive world. Key Feature: A dynamic studio halftime and weekly wrap-up show (like the old NCAA games) that shows highlights and scores from other games around your Dynasty. Rationale: This is arguably the single most-requested presentation feature. Its absence is a major immersion-breaker. Its inclusion would be a massive marketing win and a clear signal of commitment to atmosphere and realism. 2.3. Gameplay AI: "Smarter, Situational Football" Goal: Ensure long-term challenge, realism, and AI believability. Key Feature: Enhance opponent CPU logic in critical situations. Rationale: Poor AI is the fastest way to lose dedicated players, as it makes the game "solvable" and predictable. The focus should be on: 4th Down & Go-to-Go Logic: More aggression and context-awareness. 2-Minute Drill: An apparent, aggressive change in play-calling and clock management. Slider Impact: Ensure penalties (especially Holding, DPI) are effective via sliders to create realistic game-flow variance. Conclusion Thank you for considering this strategic analysis. These are not just isolated "wishes" but a cohesive vision. By investing in Agency (RTG), Persistence (Legacy), and a Reactive World (Commentary & Presentation), you can solidify College Football as the undisputed leader in sports gaming for years to come.tjmorehead1 month agoRising Novice274Views3likes3CommentsRTG Missing Key Positions
RTG is missing key players that need to be an option to build and play as. We need to be able to play as a Defensive Lineman, Safety, and Tight End. Not only are these key players, but defensively, D-Line and Safety would be some of the most fun positions to play as. Tight end is another position that would be great to play. EA, please take note. This needs to be added asap.130Views1like1CommentThis game is unacceptable
Wow. I am in utter disbelief as i'm playing RTG and tell me why, with 2 timeouts left and 28 seconds left on the clock. Down by 1 point to Ohio state. You would think i can call a timeout to either go for a TD or let the CPU kick the field goal. You would think! I GET SUBBED OUT AND THE CLOCK RUNS OUT! How? Why? We literally won the game, and there was no play called after I got subbed out. Unless they were working for vegas why would a team do that?103Views1like1CommentRequest: Expand Defensive Position Options for Authentic Gameplay
One area where EA Sports games could significantly improve realism and player control is defensive position representation. Offense has benefited from increasingly detailed roles and mechanics, while defense still feels overly compressed into limited position categories. Adding full, distinct defensive positions such as Safety, Outside Linebacker, and Dedicated Defensive Line roles would greatly enhance both realism and gameplay depth. Why this matters: Authentic Player Roles In real football, defensive responsibilities vary drastically by position. A free safety plays fundamentally different football than a strong safety. An outside linebacker is not interchangeable with an edge rusher. Treating these roles as separate positions would better reflect real-life schemes and player skill sets. Improved Team-Building and Progression Player development would feel more meaningful if attributes and upgrades were tied to true positional roles. Drafting, training, and progressing a safety or an outside linebacker would feel intentional instead of forced into a generic defensive mold. Deeper Strategy and Playcalling Expanded positions allow for smarter AI logic, better matchups, and more strategic substitutions. Defensive schemes like Cover 3, Nickel, or 3–4 formations would feel more accurate and rewarding to run. Competitive Balance Defense often feels reactionary compared to offense. Adding clearer positional identities would give defensive players more agency and reduce reliance on exploits or animation-based outcomes. This change would not only benefit simulation-focused players but also competitive and casual players who want defense to feel as engaging and varied as offense. Expanding defensive positions is a logical next step in pushing the franchise toward a more authentic and balanced football experience. Hopefully this is something the team seriously considers for future updates.5starrrtyler1 month agoSeasoned Newcomer88Views2likes1Comment
