Ik this isn't about cfb26 but EA please add turtle necks and ski masks in the cfb27 that would be chef's kiss, like that would be the cherry on top but I feel like y'all could still add it in the game bc yk it's coming July and EA I would be very very happy if y'all added it please and thank you.CFB 27 | RTG Character Customization request
While playing RTG on CFB 26, I noticed that a variety of customization options were already available in RTG. However, I was disappointed to learn that I was unable to have my hair visible under the helmet while in-game, unlike some of the AI characters, which had that option. This, among many things, is something I would love to see added in the next installment of the College Football franchise. Hair: I would love to see more hair options added to the game. Nothing overly specific is needed, but increased variety would go a long way in improving player individuality and overall immersion. Additionally, allowing RTG players to have visible hair under their helmets—just like certain AI players—would be a major improvement. Mouthguards: I liked the fact that mouthguards were included in CFB 26, but I was disappointed that there was no option for a hanging mouthguard. Hanging mouthguards are extremely common in real college football and would be a great addition not only to RTG but across all EA football titles. If added, I would love to see many different colored versions since some players use pink, white, neon green, blue, etc. Not just the standard team color 1, team color 2, etc. Masks / Ski Masks: Ski masks are something many football players wear for both warmth and style, especially during cold-weather games. It would be great to have multiple ways to wear them, such as a fully pulled-up ski mask covering the nose and mouth, or a half-down version where the mask rests below the mouth or chin. Some players also wear them with the nose covered but the mouth exposed. Having preset styles like these would add realism and allow for better player expression. High School Customization: A great addition to the high school portion of RTG would be the ability to earn customization rewards after committing to a college. This could include helmet stickers representing the committed school, as well as gloves or cleats tied to that program. These additions would give more weight to the commitment decision and make it feel more meaningful. College visits would also be an excellent addition to the mode, adding another layer of immersion to the recruiting process. Helmets: While playing RTG in CFB 26, I noticed that some helmets fit awkwardly on certain player models. One example is the Axium helmet, which can make the character appear as if they lack a neck. A potential solution would be allowing players to adjust helmet positioning, such as raising it slightly or changing the tilt angle, so helmets fit the player’s head more naturally. Skinny Body Type: When using the skinny body type, the shoulder pads appear noticeably higher compared to the lean body type, even when both are using the smallest pad size. While this is more of a personal preference, adding sliders for shoulder pad height or fit would allow for more precise and personalized customization.Academics is very unrealistic
I dedicate at least 3 of my 6/7 weekly energy points to Academics, and I'll get it all the way up to a 3.6/3.8. Then exam time hits and I get C's or D's, my GPA plummets and I have "fail" on academics. Then I have to spend even more to get it back to where I'm eligible. This is also after I choose whatever prompts I get to say "study for this exam/project/etc" that also take away energy points. This needs to be fixed. Suggestions: make small drops unless the player NEVER spends any time in academics--to which make the plummet. But if the player spends time in academics, at least let it go up around exam time. Also, 6 or 7 energy points is very low considering you have 5 areas to work on, which a few of them start off using 2 energy points. That's WAY too difficult to maintain and is not realistic. Minimally it should be 8 with a few 10s sprinkled in.
Game Play in General
From day one, this game has been a hot mess. It started out where we had to be subbed out. Then it was little things like the game crashing, and then every time you did an update, it was worse than what you were trying to fix. I have never in all the years and decades that I've been playing games had to deal with so much 💩 . This latest thing with taking the lurking completely away is BS. Put it back. Fix it.Garbage
Those of us that have waited for these games to return since they were taken from us deserve better, two years in a row you’ve released a slightly polished **bleep** with glitter sprinkled on it, the sim is broken whatever mode you play rating be dammed, the offense won’t score and your D will either play lights out or can’t stop a kitten from scoring, and you made the Rtg mode for people playing offense only, everything about the defense is broken, anyone involved should be ashamed to say they make video games. Either do better or stop making them all together.Lurking
I dont know if the people who make this game read these posts or not, but if they do, you need to put the lurking back in this game. Fix the part where if the ball is so far over your head you have no chance at intercepting the ball, but if it is right in front of you, you intercept it. When will EA add playing as OL/DL into RTG mode? It’s great catching passes for 30+ TD’s, running for **bleep** near 1500+ yds. or throwing for over 5,000 yds, but let me get my hands dirty in the trenches for 4 years. Please EA, your game is great and I love that the NCAA football game is back, but you gotta keep improving! I purchased this game for the fun of interceptions in Road To Glory as a CB. I've never been good at these games, and can't seem to get better. I'm a casual that doesn't have a lot of time on his hands. Why did you ruin the game, and stop the QBs from throwing to the receiver your RTG CB is covering? I don't play online, and don't play dynasty. I only play RTG and I want 3-4 interceptions per game. Unfortunately I made the error of purchasing this game, and should have read the difficulty people are having intercepting the ball. I don't see any reason to waste my money on the next installment if this isn't going to be fixed. Also, I'm Canadian, but I have to choose a US city and state to be from? Way to include other countries. What a waste of money.Dynasty
So I played Dynasty for the first time last night. The only thing I had played up to this point was RTG. I play in the closest thing you have to first person point of view. I want the feeling of being on the field. In Dynasty and I looked for this POV and was disappointed when I couldn't find it. I will never play Dynasty again until you add this POV.
Mike RTG is broke
I have to get on my knees and suck the devils **bleep** to get 3 tackles in the whole game. If there is a teammate 20ft. away from your tackle you automatically get assisted tackle. The online has the grip of a **bleep** silver back gorilla but any of my team members can shed and make a tackle with no **bleep** problems. The qb sits on his **bleep** thumb when I dont rush and gets his **bleep** eaten out by any of my team members. The moment I rush the qb its like every **bleep** wide receiver is automatically open and my cb and safeties are non existent. Sacking the qb is out of the question, you have a better chance sucking trumps **bleep**. Fix this **bleep** game!More positions in NCAA 26 Road To Glory
I know I’m not the only one that would enjoy playing in a different position other than QB, HB, LB, WR, or Corner. It would be nice to be able to play defensive line and/or edge rusher positions. Even a kicker would be cool in my opinion. Get called in to make a game winning field goal with 2 seconds left for example. I understand it may be a big ask, but I’m sure others would love to see it as well.Updates
To Whom It May Concern at EA Sports, I'm writing to tell you exactly how disappointed I am in what you've done to College Football. I started playing NCAA Football in 2014. The year after that, you stopped making it because of the legal mess around player likeness and players not getting paid for the use of their names and faces. Fair enough. I waited. Like a lot of fans, I was genuinely excited when the series came back. I returned in 2025. The game is nowhere near what it used to be. The gameplay is garbage. The updates, when you actually bother to release them, are trash. I bought College Football 26 hoping it would be better. It was worse. Now you keep pushing out more updates, while the people who actually paid for this game sit there hoping each patch will fix the problems that are genuinely frustrating to deal with, and instead the gameplay gets worse with every one of them. When I first bought this, I didn't think it could get worse than what it already was. I was wrong. Since July of 2025, I have watched this game decline with every single update. I want to be clear about something. I'm a welder. If I put out work at this level of quality and didn't fix it, I would be out of a job very quickly. My customers would go somewhere else, and they'd be right to. I don't get to ship a bad weld, ignore the complaints, and then ship an even worse one the next week while still collecting a paycheck. That's not how real work functions. You should be ashamed of the product you've put out. You have a monopoly on college football video games, and you're using that position to sell a broken product to loyal fans who waited a decade for the series to come back. They deserve better than this, and so do I. Fix it. Or at minimum, stop making it worse. Sincerely A concerned customer. My wr has a 95 return rating and is the starting kick off and punt returner yet again like last year it sims through it. Like dang bruh 70 bucks on this game for yall to not change any of the faces for rtg or hair styles or positions, like ok cool but I can’t return punts bro!! COME ON! Or even play both sides of the ball in highschool like ok I get not being able to in college because it’s not very common besides Charles Woodson and as of late Travis Hunter but in highschool I played both sides of the ball and pretty much our entire team did. If you was good you could start at lineback and tight end of quarterback and safety. Uuugh hopefully this will be added next year because sadly it was in the game in ncaa 14. How hard is it to copy everything from a precious master piece of a game but with the graphics and animations of today?

Custom 10 game schedule when teams are downloaded. Better stadium builder for any custom team (not just HS). Being able to have the option to play the full highschool game. Why dose the game have to cheat so much. To a point there's no reason to play as a linebacker it doesn't count anything the refs don't call flags. like the whole job of ea is to make a simulation but the game is so broken that it's not even fun like what dose ea even do besides copying and pasting and putting new animations over old ones and the game doesn't even know how to play. The practices isn't even helpful like it's practices and I run to the whole but the rb just runs a whole different way .like I have to fix to much in order to get a little bit of fun from it the whole game is made for offense. I know they won't fix it but dam the game is unplayable .I feel the whole reason they put it on ea access so they could get numbers to a point i don't think we'll ever get anything good from them anymore 🤦🤦
