RTG + Updated Rosters

I guess it doesn’t necessarily count as a bug but why can’t we use the new updated rosters in RTG? I made a new character in hopes that I could be on a more true-to-season roster but it only seems to use the default roster that came with the game. I know this was an issue last year but it seems like an easy fix. Similar to how Madden lets you play with either an active roster or the default. I figured it would just use whatever was loaded on currently when you access the mode. Anyone else experiencing this?
