RTG Can’t regenerate my health QB/ Linebacker stuck in edge rusher

I have the skill points to recover my players/QB health but I the game doesn’t let me and my Linebacker is stuck in edge position. Now I can’t play in the playoffs with my QB because my attributes are so bad and want to play zone with my linebacker but can’t because he is stuck in the edge position when he is a zone linebacker. EA please fix your game or something it’s so frustrating
