What Spot on Depth Chart Will Get Me RS MLB

How low on the depth chart do I need to be to be sat for the majority of the year so I can redshirt without having to tank my GPA? And what teams have worked best for yall. I know there is a level of randomness added due to top players leaving the nfl, new recruits and the transfer portal but has anyone had any consistent or even one time success on teams with a deep enough MLB roster.
