Formation subs in dynasty

I have had issues with formations subs not recognizing the USER coach playbook set to their profile to set subs. It seems it only shows the previous CPU coaches playbook. Is there a bug or is there something I not doing to allow me to use any playbook in Dynasty and set formation subs.
