We appreciate all the info you've been sharing with us so far. We've been looking into the reports of game crashes, and we were hoping you could help us out with some details:
- Which platform are you playing on?
- What's your Xbox Gamertag or PSN ID?
- Which game modes are you seeing the crashes in?
- Where are the crashes happening in-game? Is it happening in the menus or in the middle of a game? Where specifically in the menu or during a game does it crash?
- What was happening in the game leading up to the crash?
- Did you get any error messages or error codes when it crashed?
- Please include the names of any Team Builder teams you were using when the crashes happened.
- What teams, stadiums, and uniforms were you using?
- Which playbook are you using? Did you make any specific changes to your playbook before this started happening?
Also, if you can make sure that data sharing is enabled in the College Football 26 settings, that would be helpful for us. You can enable data sharing using the steps below:
- Go to the More tab on the main menu
- Select Extras
- Select EA Account
- Set the Share Usage Data option to "Yes"

Game modes with crashing: main menu, play now, dynasty (recruiting, playing games)
where I see crashing: the game will crash while I'm navigating the menu, it will crash during a game usually after play selection before snap, but also often at the end of a play. i've never had it crash during a quarter or halftime break but I see that is common. I will see the crash as I'm working through the recruiting board in dynasty. the crash sometimes sends me to xbox dashboard, sometimes it freezes the game, sometimes it will literally turn off my xbox. this just happened right now while writing this reply after I checked I was sharing usage data.

have not even considered trying to use a team builder team yet lol. I am using stanford, virginia tech, USC...I've tried a lot of teams. I've used my custom playbook in the beginning but since troubleshooting I just use team playbooks. no improvement at all.
I've done all the troubleshooting multiple times. DNS settings, clear cache, alternate port, remove and readd account, uninstall game, etc....I will say if I download CFB 25 then I also have crashing problems, however if I play CFB 25 on cloud gaming I have no issues. I would ask to please allow owners of CFB 26 to play on cloud gaming with Xbox gamepass. That appears to work.
just updating there's been no improvement. my console had an update recently but it did nothing. i have come close to finishing a game in dynasty a few times. i don't feel as bad about forcing a win in simulation after my game crashed in the third or fourth quarter, but my players will never win the heisman while simulating wins. i bought my xbox x console new literally to play CFB 25. this has been terrible.
