Yardage, touchdowns, and explosive plays don’t appear to count. So if a WR catches one 70-yard touchdown, it barely impacts the metric. But if they catch five short passes for 30 yards, the system counts that more. This punishes teams that run vertical or spread offenses. It also makes it feel like players are being penalized for being too efficient. In my dynasty, I’ve had top WRs threaten to transfer even when leading the team in yards and touchdowns. They are listed as a poor fit just because they don’t have enough total catches.Has anyone else noticed this? Is this being addressed by EA?t would make more sense if the game considered yards, touchdowns, or YAC along with receptions—especially for Speedsters who are supposed to thrive on big plays.
