Let me clarify something positive I failed to mention in my original post.
The improvements to the AI and the overall difficulty against the CPU are outstanding. When I look at the game as a whole, this is honestly one of the best football games I've ever played.
Also the added defensive adjustment options, the macro features, honestly its all incredible
I love that the adaptive AI punishes repetitive playcalling. Last year you could spam the same zero blitz over and over and rack up unrealistic sack totals. This year the CPU adjusts, recognizes what you're doing, and makes you pay for it. That's exactly how it should be.
I also love that passing is more challenging. You have to make real reads and play quarterback instead of forcing throws all over the field. If you make bad decisions, you'll throw interceptions. That's a huge step in the right direction.
My criticism isn't with the direction of the game. It's with the balance. I genuinely believe the foundation you've built is excellent. It just needs a tuning pass to address some of the current gameplay issues so the strengths of the game can really shine.
Please keep building on what you've created. A well-balanced gameplay patch could turn an already great football game into something truly special.
