NDSU Accuracy Notes

Aside from the Fargodome itself not yet being scanned into the game, here are a few other things I’ve noticed are inaccurate about NDSU in game:

• The stripes on the green jersey are wrong. All three stripes (yellow, white, yellow) should be even widths. In game, the white stripe is much wider. The stripes appear to be correct on all of the other jerseys.
• The MW patch on every jersey is inverted. In game, the M is yellow and the W is green, when the real patch is the opposite.
• No Gate City Bank uniform patch
• The stadium turf is not accurate. There are numerous inaccuracies including:
  • Smaller MW logo
  • Wider sidelines
  • Endzone lettering should be more spaced out
  • Team color green used in logos rather than turf green. (The green in the logos is more vibrant than in reality)
  • No “Gate City Bank Field” at midfield
  • Goalposts are yellow instead of white
  • Goalpost logo and colors and inaccurate
• Full stadium lighting during team introduction instead of it being dark + spotlights
• No fireworks during intro or touchdowns (similar to what US Bank Stadium has in Madden for indoor stadium fireworks)
• Bowl end zones are also inverse of what they should be. They are green with yellow lettering, which is not their typical endzone format (yellow with green lettering, just like at home)
• Lack of practice uniforms
• The Gold Standard uniform (all white) is listed as an away alternate, but has only ever been worn at home.

Additionally, there seems to be a lack of ND born recruits within dynasty mode. This makes it impossible to fulfill the AD expectation of signing ND recruits.

It is also looking like Wyoming will be a big rival, as well as a local belief that Minnesota is a rival as well. Those could be added alongside James Madison as rivals.

While I do understand that NDSU’s quick arrival to FBS makes things difficult to get perfect, I believe these are small enough changes that could get updated within this year’s game that would go a long way.
