Punter Power Over The Top

Why is my punter able to boom punts well above his metrics? I can be on my own 30 yard line and consistenly punt it into the opposite end zone. Is this bug being investigated?

Also, on some punts my meter moves extremely slow, any information on this would be appreciated.
