Whatever update you’re making, it’s making the game worse.

I have receivers dropping multiple passes a game that are wide open and DB’s that can’t run anyone down, as soon as they get a step, no matter how fast or slow they are, I’m not catching them from behind.

It’s infuriating.

  • The game was great out of the box with some slider adjustments, but the devs caved to the streamers and “competitive” crowd who do not want realism in their sports games and this is what we get.

I know several people who are done purchasing this game after what was pulled here. It is completely different than what we paid for and it feels like a bait and switch.

This could be easily solved by giving us the option to select what update we want to use like we can in NHL.

  • I think it's important to look at both the good and the bad when evaluating the current state of the game.

    The positives:

On the positive side, updates like removing speed boosting have genuinely added to the realism of on field gameplay. If players are struggling to lock down wide receivers, I'd strongly recommend checking out the skills trainer to learn the new user coverage features. On top of that, the revamped defensive adjustment menus and custom options give you a ton of great new tools to set up your entire defense pre snap.

    Some issues

My main critique is that EA seems to lean too heavily into feedback from vocal, popular streamers rather than the majority of the player base. When you watch events like the MCS, competitors are often running the exact same exploits. Allowing those to slide in EA sponsored events instead of patching them out sends the wrong message and encourages everyday players to spam them online.

Overall, I really enjoy the game and appreciate the direction it's heading, but it still has some clear balance issues that need addressing. Also update Neyland!  Hoping that pre Week 0 roster update drops soon since kickoff is right around the corner!

Receivers dropping passes has been a big issue since the game released.  There have been many many complaints about it.

It’s one thing if I’m being hit or tightly covered, but when I’m wide open and there’s nobody within 10 yards, it’s another thing.
