Roster Size should be 105

College football rosters have moved from an 85 scholarship limit to a 105 player limit. This has been the case since before the 2025 season. This must be fixed. I’m not sure how all players can even be in the game if every roster is 20 players less than what it is in real life.

Please fix this in the next update. I’m hoping it’s simple and won’t need a whole title update.

It is absolutely necessary to provide a realistic simulation of college football.  105 man rosters control injuries, NIL, and turnover at positions.  There is a constant cycle to a program of replacing players that are not good enough to remain on the roster and we have failed to capture than in the current version.  It goes hand and hand with deciding players stay or go.  However, the option to move on from a player needs to occur throughout the offseason recruiting window.  I may want to move on from a player if I find a transfer that is more capable than they are.

The current portal wants to highlight the good, but sometimes an incoming freshman is no longer good enough for a spot or a transfer.  We should not be limited on cutting just current players.  We may find out that an incoming player is just not good enough to stay, but they may have a home at a lower tier progam.

I agree, this provides depth and helps out with so many players going unsigned and disappearing into the abyss.

  • I agree with this and that will give me a reason to enable injuries

  • That would also fix players disappearing once the transfer portal hits.
