Can't start game from steam account

I see a lot of people posting whether or not they like this game. I have no idea bc I cannot get passed the loader/launcher. A lot of steam users are having this problem. I have followed all instructions by EA, read all FAQs related to startup, watched videos on out to start game, etc and nothing. Seems like many steam users are having same problems
